What do you need to get a License?

- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be a resident of the state of Texas
- Take the TABC test successfully
- Must be a law-abiding citizen
It takes 60 days to six months to obtain the license, depending upon your TABC chosen location. Remember, you must also successfully pass the TABC test to receive the license to sell liquor. The license is good for a specified period of time and may be suspended at any point during this time if you are found in violation of any of the Texas Alcohol Commission laws.
