Stress Buster
The following 13 videos (3-4 min each) take you through a series of EFT tapping rounds to address different aspects of stress.  Simply follow along, repeating what I say and tapping where I tap.  (Learn more about EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques.)

I recommend having paper and pen handy to make note of different feelings or insights that come up as you tap - it's important to tap for these specifically to achieve the best results.

Video 1:  I'm So Stressed
When we are stressed, we feel the effects in our body.  We can feel stress in our stomachs, in our ability to breathe, in our necks or shoulders, as tension headaches, or a myriad of other symptoms.  There's usually one place in our body that is the first to act up when we are stressed - the weakest link, if you will.  This normally has more aspects and layers than what is addressed here and I recommend that you describe your weakest 'body-stress' link on your paper, and address it later as a separate issue with my other EFT series Most Worthwhile Hour
Video 2:  I Feel Stress in my Body
When we're stressed, everything is too much for us to handle.  We have much shorter fuses.  In this video we address our tendency to try to 'dump' some of this overload of stuff on the people around us.  In this state of overwhelm and frustration, we do and say things that we normally wouldn't, yet it doesn't seem to be something we can control.
Video 3:  How I Behave when I'm Stressed
Here we address our feelings about being over-stressed, and all the ways that stress has adversely affected our lives.
Video 4:  I Hate Stress
There are most likely several issues that cause you stress in your life.  The purpose of this video is to address only one at a time.  You can choose to repeat this video as many times as you like.

Ask yourself:  "What is the one thing causing me the MOST stress RIGHT NOW" and write that down.  Be as specific as possible.

For instance, rather than just stating 'work' use something like 'this presentation I have to give tomorrow on project xyz'.  Similarly, instead of saying 'my boyfriend' it would be more appropriate to use 'my argument with James last night at dinner.'  Once you have your specific statement, use that to fill in the 'blank' as we tap.

Video 5:  The Cause of my Stress
Here we address that you either don't know any relaxation techniques, or the ones you've tried don't seem to work for you, or you just don't have the time or energy to use them.
Video 6:  No Way to De-Stress
Video 7:  Saying NO
In this video we address the fact that stress comes from conflict.  On some level we are rejecting our outside circumstances.  There is something that we want to change, or literally say NO to, but feel unable to actually do so.
Video 8:  Lack of Control
We all feel safer when we feel we have some control over what is going on, either around us or with our own feelings.  The feeling of lack of control is central to many sources of stress in our lives.
Video 9:  Lack of Time
In this fast-paced world everything has to be done NOW, and everyone has their own activities, and there is always something to do and someplace to be....   The only commodity we are short of is TIME.

Video 10:  Pressure
Another word for Stress could be Pressure.  Pressure is placed on us not only by outside circumstances and other people, but certainly by ourselves as well.  We place expectations on ourselves - many times we fail in our own eyes regardless of the glowing reports from others...

"Stress reduction and stress elimination is the heart of the work done with EFT.  We suffer limitations in our health, overall wellbeing and zest for life in direct proportion to the degree that stress has accumulated in our energetic systems.

EFT as a therapeutic tool serves people with all kinds of stress reduction needs."

Please view all the videos if this is your first visit, even the ones that you don't think apply to your situation.  As you go through them, you may notice that certain rounds really worked for you more than others - tap through them as many times as you like.

I often speak too quickly to allow viewers time to repeat - please access and print the pdf scripts to say the words along with me.

This video addresses the feeling of being so stressed out and overwhelmed.  There's no room for anything other than:  I'M STRESSED!
Assess how you are doing:  before each video, check in with yourself and make note of how stressed you feel on a scale of 0-10.
Video 11:  No Help
We feel more stress in our lives when we lack a sense of support.  This video addresses the feelings of not having help, or not getting the help we need, perhaps not being able to admit we need help, or knowing how to ask for help.
Video 12:  I Like Stress
It's true - part of you probably does.  There are good stresses and bad stresses, and stress in and of itself is only damaging over an extended period of time.  This video addresses the up-sides of stress, and touches on the fact that there may be certain stresses that we hold onto for subconscious reasons we are not aware of.
Video 13:  What I'm Really Worried About
Tapping through some of the questions in this video might help you uncover some of the underlying fears or beliefs that are the real source of stressful responses.  The physical stress response is a reaction designed to serve us when we are in danger.  In our everyday lives, most of us rarely encounter physical danger - yet the threat of abandonment, rejection, or loss of our life as we know it - can be very real.  Tapping for these underlying issues will result in the greatest change in your quality of life.  Any insights or memories that you come up with can be addressed using the Most Worthwhile Hour videos.
